night, I was elected unopposed as the Vice President of Writers in Townsville
Society for 2012-13. Here is a message
of introduction about the group from our President:

Writers in Townsville Society (WITS)
Ask
any dedicated writer & they’ll tell you that writing is a vocation not a
hobby. Our world view is influenced by that constant stream of thought that
converts people, places & incidents from the mundane to the exceptional. For forty years this year WITS has provided an
environment where writers from all genres & levels of writing can share

I am thrilled to let you know that I'm receiving some wonderful poetry from all over the English speaking parts of the globe. It makes choosing poets to feature difficult, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Please send me your best unpublished poem of twenty-five lines or fewer, and I will try to respond quickly, honestly, and always with an appreciative spirit for the care and time you offer me.
